We are a gathering of diverse artists centered in Merritt, B.C., which lies in the Thompson-Nicola Valley. We come from a variety of backgrounds and each of us brings something artistically and personally unique to this group. Among us are painters, pencil and charcoal artists, sculptors, carvers, photographers, and digital artists of all ages and levels of skill.

VVA Members Activities

The Valley Visual Artists get together once a month for creative sessions hosted at members homes or plein air as weather allows in various locations. These sessions are where we focus on our current projects, start new ones, and generally immerse ourselves in artistic camaraderie. We focus on our creativity in an encouraging and supportive atmosphere and have the benefit of learning new techniques and gaining artistic insights from experienced and adventurous artists. :)
